Encore is an industry leading, full-service fire protection company serving the Northeast with offices in Maine to New Jersey. Our continued growth and success has created the need for a Data Integrity Specialist within our Operations team, working from our Middletown, Connecticut office.

 

Encore leads with data and facts, which is one of the ideologies that has propelled our incredible growth. The Data Integrity team is an integral and growing department that acts as the central nervous system for the service business.

 

As a Data Integrity Specialist, you will be trained on the systems and processes that make our service business successful while working alongside Operations, Sales, Finance, Business Intelligence, IT. In this role, you will be able to personally grow in a diverse manner, which can lead to varied growth opportunities.

You will be using your penchant for analytical thinking and analysis to:

  • Administer, Maintain, Audit, and Manage incoming data to ensure it follows internal procedures and stays aligned with company expectations.
  • Identify discrepancies in contracted work, invoicing errors and timecards
  • Create, optimize, and monitor a variety of reports that indicate performance within service lines and divisions
  • Participate and/or manage small to medium size projects working with a variety of levels within the organization
  • Implement new processes and support functional departments as a subject matter expert

Requirements

While the Data Integrity Specialist may be “entry-level”, we encourage anyone who is applying to see this as an entry-point into an organization that truly values ambition and rewards hard work. The only limits to where someone in this position can rise are the one's they put on themselves. Requirements are simple:

  • College degree
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and an above average desire to learn new technology
  • Desire to be part of a successful team but able to work independently
  • Critical thinking skills to identify trends within the data and reports and/or suggestions for other potentially relevant operating metrics that can be compiled with the available data
  • Initiative to delve deeper into data if/when unexpected results are uncovered

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
