Encore is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to our Pawtucket, RI office!

Encore is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial-spirited organization seeking to add talent to our accounting team with the addition of an Accounts Payable Extraordinaire. In this role, you will have primary responsibility for executing the payables-process start to finish. This includes:

• Collating invoices from daily mail
• Ensuring bills are properly allocated to the corresponding job or project
• Verifying accuracy of bills against purchase orders
• Entering invoices for payment
• Communicating with senior level accounting and finance teams regarding outstanding account balances with recommendations for payment
• Executing daily/weekly check runs

This Payables position is not for the faint of heart! Our pace is fast and our volume is high. But assuming the Coordinator seat means taking on responsibility for delegating tasks and training your teammates, as needed, to ensure YOUR payables process is completed timely and accurately.

• You must be a numbers person. Please be honest about this point. If you are not a numbers person, you will not be happy in this position.
• 1-2 experience working in a professional accounting role with payables responsibility
• Above average proficiency with the Microsoft platform including heavy emphasis on Excel
• College degree preferred but not required
