As an Accounts Receivable Lead, you’ll be a key part of our AR department, reporting to the AR Manager. You’ll support a team of 4-5 Collections Specialists, ensuring our invoicing and collections processes run smoothly and that our customer relationships stay strong.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to your team of Collections Specialists, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Help your team execute collections strategies to minimize bad debt while maintaining strong customer relations.
- Assist with customer inquiries and disputes, ensuring we uphold our reputation for exceptional service.
- Encourage your team’s growth by sharing your knowledge, offering support, and helping them enhance their skills within the AR function.
- Collaborate with your team and management to identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the AR Manager and Senior AR Manager to align your team’s efforts with department goals and contribute to the company’s overall success.
What You'll Need to Do It:
- 2-3 years in accounts receivable, with some exposure to leadership or supervisory roles.
- Experience in a high-volume collections environment is preferred.
- A desire to develop your leadership skills and guide a team.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
