As the Senior Treasury Analyst, you'll be key in managing the financial health of the organization by optimizing cash flow, liquidity, and minimizing financial risk. Working closely with the Controller, you’ll handle day-to-day treasury operations, analyze cash flow trends, develop cash management strategies, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. You'll also collaborate with both internal and external partners to streamline processes and support the company’s financial goals.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

 

  • Cash Management:
    • Monitor and manage daily cash positions, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
    • Collaborate with the FP&A team on cash forecasting models to optimize cash flow and minimize borrowing costs.
  • Banking Relationships:
    • Maintain and manage relationships with banking partners, ensuring optimal service levels and cost-effective banking solutions.
    • Assist with negotiating and managing banking agreements, including credit facilities and fee structures.
    • Monitor credit card fees and assist with negotiating fees based on volume increases. 
  • Treasury Operations:
    • Oversee treasury operations, including payment processing, positive pay and reconciliation of treasury accounts.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury policies, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Support third-party tax preparers with data request for tax returns and estimated tax payments.
    • Work with Finance Team and third-party to forecast requirements needed for accurate estimated tax payments, including state apportionment factors and R&D Tax Credits.
    • Ensure the accurate reporting of various tax schedules, distributing them internally and externally while adhering to reporting deadlines. 
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including reporting requirements related to cash management.
    • Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on treasury operations.
  • Benefits Reporting and Compliance:
    • Lead efforts with third-party auditors on data requests related to the annual 401K Plan audit.
    • Ensure compliance with payroll transactions related to the 401K Plan contributions and company match.
    • Lead on payroll tax compliance associated with rates, withholdings and payment of payroll taxes.
    • Reconcile and report all benefit and payroll tax accounts monthly. 
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze and report on treasury performance metrics, including cash flow trends and debt management.
    • Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for both internal and audited financial reports.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead or support treasury projects, including system implementations, process improvements, M&A integration, and optimizing corporate banking relationships to meet the organization's growing demands.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive treasury initiatives and align them with overall business objectives.

 

What We’re Looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with experience in tax management; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or corporate tax, with a strong understanding of cash management, risk management, and treasury operations.
  • Public accounting experience in tax services; CPA license is a plus.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and treasury management best practices.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with occasional travel for banking meetings and industry conferences.
  • Primarily in-office, with the potential for hybrid work arrangements once fully up to speed in the position.
