As part of Encore's mission to be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen, we have recently joined forces with Sprinkler Systems, Inc. based out of Lewiston, ME. This partnership not only allows us to expand our footprint and find top talent in the Maine area, it also allows us to work with industry leaders who strive for same level of excellence as we do.

 

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Liaison with contractors and engineers on schedules, permits, inspections, work orders and providing administrative support to the project management team.
  • Preparing and updating project and building files ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Submitting permit applications for Fire Sprinkler installation projects.
  • Coordinating with project managers to understand what permits need to be submitted and to what governing authority.
  • Actively tracking process of construction process to ensure inspections appointments are coordinated
  • Tracking all upcoming, submitted and completed permit applications
  • Managing and tracking all certificates of insurance ensuring that all coverage levels are in compliance with building standards.
  • Assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports that discuss, in detail, the status of the project.
  • Traveling 5-10 hours per week to different job sites.

Requirements:

 

The Project Administrative Assistant role may be entry-level, but we'd encourage anyone who is applying to see this as an entry-point into an organization that truly values ambition and rewards hard work.   6. Attention to detail that borders on obsessive
  7. The ability to defuse situations through empathy and logical problem solving
  8. The ability to do a small amount of physical labor, which involves using a wrench to collect flow data
  9. Administrative experience preferred, but not required
