Our continued growth and success has created a need for a Sprinkler Service Manager for our West Wareham operation. Our Service Managers are the "go-to" experts for their product line, offering crucial support and guidance to both field technicians and office staff. As our Sprinkler Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing day-to-day operations, resolving technical issues, and driving exceptional service delivery.
Here's some of what you can expect:
- Serve as a knowledge hub for our technicians, providing guidance to navigate intricate service calls with expert recommendations
- Offer strategic product suggestions to empower our Deficiency Sales Team in accurately quoting system repairs and suggesting remediation step
- Effectively communicate with our customers, and taking ownership for resolving service related issues
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the service team, fostering growth in technical and industry-specific expertise
- Engage proactively in initiatives to retain customers, boost revenue, and enhance overall departmental profitability
- Partner closely with the Operations Manager and Director to set clear financial and operational goals
- Perform on-site visits to job sites to guarantee the punctuality and efficacy of projects
Requirements:
While experience is required, we also place a strong emphasis on those who value what it means to get things done and make it happen.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in any combination of field, sales, design, operations and/or management
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, operations management, or a related field preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, and codes/regulations related to fire safety.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team of technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and safety.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex issues with fire protection systems and develop effective solutions efficiently.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction through prompt and effective resolution of issues
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, from scheduling and resource allocation to budgeting and quality control.
- Training and Development: Capability to train and mentor technicians, enhancing their technical skills and industry knowledge to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and environments in a dynamic industry with evolving technology and regulations.
