What You’ll Be Doing:
- Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems (basic to complex) with minimal supervision. Installation experience is a bonus but not required.
- Flexibility to work overtime during nights and weekends, including on-call emergency troubleshooting when needed.
- Work with contractors, customers, building maintenance teams, and office personnel to coordinate and execute daily tasks.
- Identify code and non-compliance issues, ensuring all systems are up to industry standards.
- Confidently make recommendations for system improvements and installations.
- Take ownership of troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately.
- Bring a strong attention to detail and exceptional dedication to every project.
What You’ll Need:
- Massachusetts Electrical License required.
- High school diploma (industry experience is a plus but not required).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Solid understanding of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA requirements, and fire alarm system installation standards.
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems such as Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Fire-Lite, etc.
