Here's what you'll be doing:

  1. Assist in planning, scheduling, and overseeing fire sprinkler installation projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  2. Gain hands-on experience managing teams, coordinating field operations, and ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  3. Support senior management in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing project needs, and resolving challenges proactively.
  4. Collaborate with field supervisors and technicians to promote efficient workflows, effective communication, and high-quality workmanship.
  5. Analyze project budgets, monitor costs, and identify opportunities to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
  6. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal codes, as well as company safety and quality standards, during all phases of fire sprinkler system projects.
  7. Rotate through various departments, including design, estimating, project management, and field operations, to develop a well-rounded understanding of the business.
  8. Contribute to long-term planning initiatives, identifying growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement within the division.
  9. Work closely with senior leaders to learn best practices, receive ongoing feedback, and prepare for future leadership roles.

Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of relevant management experience (preferred).
  3. The ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities, such as taking initiative, motivating others, and making decisions, even if on a small scale.
  4. Display both verbal and written communication to effectively manage teams and interact with other departments and clients.
  5. Experience with software such as Procore, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs (preferred).
  6. The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced training environment.
  7. Willingness to try, learn new things, admit mistakes, adapt and change.
  8. Motivated and eager to advance in a leadership position.
