Position Summary:
The IT Operations and Security Manager will oversee our technology infrastructure and security efforts, helping to deliver best-in-class service quality and operational support. This role requires a proactive manager who emphasizes clear communication and effective collaboration across teams while implementing security-focused solutions that keep pace with evolving threats and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and effective communications.
- Implement best practices for project management and continuously improve project delivery processes and forecasts.
2. Communications:
- Foster effective communication within the IT team and between IT and other departments.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about IT initiatives, project progress, and any issues or changes.
- Ensure clear and concise documentation of IT processes, operations and policies.
3. IT Security:
- Implement, and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Monitor and assess IT security risks and vulnerabilities and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IT security.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address potential threats.
4. Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department service desk, emphasizing service quality and consistent customer experiences.
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT Team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the IT team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in IT operations, project management, and IT security.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Project Management Professional certification or training recommended.
Skills:
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experienced in ITIL Framework Operations
- Willingness to lean in and help your team drive and deliver outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
