We’re seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Journeyman to join our Pawtucket, Rhode Island team. If you have a passion for precision, teamwork, and safety—and you’re ready to make a real impact in the fire protection industry—we want to hear from you! 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Measure, cut, and install steel and plastic pipes in compliance with NFPA standards and local building codes.
  • Attach sprinkler heads and fittings, ensuring systems are leak-free and properly functioning.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to determine system layout and placement.
  • Perform routine inspections, service, and repairs to maintain compliance with regulations and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with on-site contractors and team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure all work is completed with high precision and strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Document job details, including materials used, work performed, and site conditions.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Active RI Sprinkler Fitter Journeyman License.
  • Proven experience installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
  • Strong understanding of NFPA standards, national fire codes, and local building regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including heights up to 30 feet and adverse weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and operate required tools and lifts safely.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Rhode Island.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and lift operations.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
