As we continue to grow in this new territory, we have found ourselves in need of an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to service our Dover, New Jersey area!

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform installation, service, and/or inspection work on wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues.
  • Laying out, assembling, installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings throughout New Jersey
  • Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly
  • Ability to work on call rotation.
  • Must have the ability to work alone.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required. Industry experience preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel within the state of New Jersey.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of complex blueprints and solid written and verbal skills
  • Familiarity with the national fire codes
  • Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and the necessary tools
  • Ability to work in a wide variety of conditions, including heights up to 30 feet or more and also be able to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Experience in lift operations and OSHA guidelines
  • NICET certification a plus
