Overview

Encore Fire Protection is a full-service fire protection company proudly serving the Northeast. For more than 30 years, we’ve built a reputation on doing things the right way—pairing technical know-how with great customer service and clear, honest communication. Our team takes a people-first approach, and we’re looking for someone who shares that mindset.

We're currently seeking a Sprinkler Service Manager to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience in a service-based industry—think HVAC, plumbing, or building services—who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both their team and customers. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations for sprinkler service calls, provide guidance to field technicians and office staff, and ensure we’re delivering consistent, high-quality service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a knowledge hub for our technicians, helping them navigate complex service calls with expert recommendations
  • Offer strategic product suggestions to support our Deficiency Sales Team in accurately quoting system repairs and recommending remediation steps
  • Communicate effectively with our customers, taking ownership of resolving service-related issues
  • Mentor junior members of the service team, fostering growth in both technical and industry-specific knowledge
  • Engage proactively in initiatives to retain customers, boost revenue, and improve departmental profitability
  • Partner closely with the Operations Manager and Director to set clear financial and operational goals
  • Conduct on-site visits to ensure project timeliness and effectiveness

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone who knows how to lead a team and manage service operations—regardless of the specific industry.

  • 5+ years of management experience in a service-based business (HVAC, plumbing, facilities, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of field service workflows—scheduling, dispatch, maintenance, and repair
  • A knack for solving problems quickly and efficiently, especially when dealing with customers or technical challenges
  • Strong leadership and communication skills—you know how to motivate your team and keep things moving
  • Excellent customer service instincts and a commitment to doing what’s right
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts at once—budgets, schedules, people, and priorities
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with fire protection systems is a plus, but not necessary—we can teach that

What We Offer:

At Encore, we believe hard work should be rewarded—with more than just a paycheck. Here’s what we offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience, with the opportunity for a results-driven bonus tied to personal output and effectiveness
  • Purpose- and results-driven work environment (work smarter, not harder)
  • A relaxed dress code—we dress for the objective. Most days, that means jeans, but occasionally it means suits. If you know the difference (or aren't afraid to ask), you'll fit right in!
  • Branded Encore gear when you join the team
  • A culture that encourages sharing ideas—we’re always open to testing, tweaking, improving, and evolving
  • Access to cutting-edge, web-based productivity tools
  • Participation in a Fidelity 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits through Blue Cross
  • Company-paid life insurance policy of $50,000
