We’re looking for a Fire Suppression Technician to join our team in Needham, MA, helping us protect lives and property as we continue expanding across the Northeast and beyond. What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform inspections, testing, and recharging of kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems, as well as fire extinguishers
- Assemble, install, maintain, and service fire suppression systems in commercial buildings throughout Massachusetts
- Represent Encore in a positive and professional manner while working with customers
- Work independently and as part of a team, depending on the job
What You'll Need to Do It:
- MA CC-48 and/or Rhode Island Fixed Systems Journeyman's license preferred (Apprentices with experience should apply too!)
- Other licenses such as CC-46, CC-41, and/or CC-47 are a plus but not required
- Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts, including frequent work in and around the Boston Metro area
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check as a condition of employment
- Candidates should have interest in construction industry and may possess experience reading blueprints, using hand tools and operating machinery.
