We’re looking for a Fire Suppression Technician to join our team in Needham, MA, helping us protect lives and property as we continue expanding across the Northeast and beyond. Whether you’ve been in the trade for a while or are just starting out, if you take pride in your work and want real opportunities to move up, this could be the place for you.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform inspections, testing, and recharging of kitchen and industrial fire suppression systems, as well as fire extinguishers
  • Assemble, install, maintain, and service fire suppression systems in commercial buildings throughout Massachusetts
  • Represent Encore in a positive and professional manner while working with customers
  • Work independently and as part of a team, depending on the job

 

What You'll Need to Do It: 

  • MA CC-48 and/or Rhode Island Fixed Systems Journeyman's license preferred (Apprentices with experience should apply too!)
  • Other licenses such as CC-46, CC-41, and/or CC-47 are a plus but not required
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts, including frequent work in and around the Boston Metro area
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check as a condition of employment
  • Candidates should have interest in construction industry and may possess experience reading blueprints, using hand tools and operating machinery.
