Job Overview: 

The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in assisting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating customer interactions, and ensuring seamless sales operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 Administrative Support 

  • Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices. 
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer accounts, and CRM databases. 
  • Assist in tracking sales performance and preparing sales reports. 
  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the sales team. 

 Customer Service & Communication 

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product/service information. 
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues in a timely manner. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance) to ensure order fulfillment. 
  • Follow up with clients regarding order status, payments, and renewals. 

Sales Coordination & Support 

  • Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials. 
  • Assist in lead generation by researching potential clients and market trends. 
  • Support sales representatives by managing follow-ups and outreach efforts. 
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, product availability, and pricing updates. 

 Process & System Optimization 

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and efficiency. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. 
  • Assist with training new sales team members on tools and procedures. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred). 
  • Experience in sales support, customer service, or administration. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
