As a Senior IT Technician, you'll be the go-to person providing tier 2 technology support and collaborating with other team members for seamless technology integration, based out of our Bethlehem, PA office. You will be one of the primary points of contact for resolving more complex technical issues that come in from our end-users. This involves diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems, providing solutions, and ensuring minimal disruption to the users. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing escalated issues efficiently and effectively.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll need a strong foundation and genuine passion for technology and helping others. You will work with various devices, applications, and business systems daily, so a knack for technology is essential. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Provide advanced support for any IT-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer prompt solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Assist with software updates, network configuration, and routine maintenance tasks to maintain optimal system performance and security.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware inventory, system configurations, and support tickets to ensure transparency and accountability in IT operations.
  • Handle complex support tickets while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members

What You'll Need to Do It:

This Senior IT Technician position is ideal for someone with 5-10 years of experience in the IT field. We value ambition and reward hard work, and the only limits are the ones you set for yourself. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 5-10 years of experience in an IT Help Desk/Systems Admin or equivalent environment. (MSP experience a plus)
  • Windows Server administration
  • A strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts
  • AWS knowledge a plus
  • Understanding of Endpoint management (RMM, MDM)
  • Extensive knowledge of PC and mobile devices. Microsoft Suite, IT ticketing systems (Atlassian helpful)
  • Excellent customer service skills and a proven ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computing, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work in and support a fast-paced, ever-changing organization and get the job done.
