Encore Fire Protection is an industry-leading, full-service fire protection company serving the entire Northeast, from Maine to Maryland. Our growth has led to the need for an Operations Coordinator at our new Norwalk, CT office. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, helping to solve problems and keep things running smoothly. You’ll enjoy a fast-paced environment, where your main focus will be managing the daily schedules for our service teams to ensure the most efficient and profitable use of time.

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll need 2-3 years of office experience and a strong desire to grow. Our Operations Coordinators have a clear path for advancement, with opportunities in Project Management, Operations Management, Analysis, or Sales. Your career trajectory will depend on your drive and motivation to progress.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing service schedules for a defined region, coordinating up to 10 technicians
  • Maximizing daily productivity (and revenue) by efficiently scheduling work based on technician capabilities and route optimization
  • Holding technicians accountable to time and attendance policies, as well as service schedules
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and helping to streamline operations for better efficiency and customer experience
  • Providing excellent customer service through strong communication and problem-solving skills

 

What You’ll Need to Do It:

  • A college degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service, project management, coordination, or facility services
  • Interest and ability to learn new technology, including Service Trade, our industry-specific software
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills
  • A professional, customer-focused approach to all assignments and interactions
  • Knowledge of Maine geography is a plus, but not required
