Overview

At Encore, our mission is more than just words—it’s a commitment to delivering an unmatched experience to those who trust us with their safety and property. Through innovative solutions in fire suppression, sprinkler systems, and alarm services, we work every day to provide the highest level of protection for our customers.

But that’s just the beginning. What truly sets Encore apart is simple: it’s our people. This isn’t just a slogan, or something we printed on a t-shirt (okay, we did that too). It’s a fundamental belief. We know that exceptional people are what make exceptional companies.

We’re currently looking for a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales team and drive growth across one of our key regions. This role blends strategy, coaching, and customer engagement to ensure the team not only hits their targets, but delivers value at every stage of the customer journey. At Encore, we build our sales strategy around the people who make it all happen—because behind every service, big or small, is a team just as passionate about protecting lives as they are about creating a seamless customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who leads from the front, inspires and motivates their team, and isn’t afraid to get in the trenches when needed. You’ll set the standard, model best practices, and jump in to remove roadblocks or close deals when the situation calls for it. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, energy, and impact.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Sales Leadership & Team Development

  • Define sales goals, territories, and KPIs to drive accountability and focus
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s with reps to review progress and keep momentum strong
  • Perform in-depth performance reviews twice a year
  • Provide hands-on coaching for calls, emails, follow-ups, and overall deal strategy
  • Address underperformance proactively and constructively
  • Ensure the sales process is scalable, repeatable, and adaptable as reps grow
  • Oversee and optimize use of CRM (HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., ZoomInfo)
  • Plan and lead quarterly sales training and skills development sessions, tapping into external resources when needed
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings and organize team-building activities
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members to support growth
  • Foster a collaborative, “we over me” culture that encourages sharing of wins, learnings, and best practices

Customer Experience Management

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and operations to craft tailored solutions
  • Serve as an escalation point for sales or service-related issues—including administrative challenges like invoicing
  • Provide direction on pricing strategy to ensure alignment and consistency across accounts
  • Lead negotiations for large or complex sales opportunities

Performance & Results

  • Lead a team of 10+ sales professionals to exceed individual and team targets
  • Drive top-line revenue growth and increase booked margin year-over-year
  • Expand market share across your assigned region
  • Monitor and manage sales costs to ensure alignment with budgetary goals

What We Offer:

At Encore, we’re hyper-focused on building a culture that thrives on success and is energized by the fact that we get to make people’s lives safer every day. One of the ways we do this is by generously rewarding those who contribute to our continued growth—but we also know that not all rewards are monetary. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based bonus tied to personal results and impact
  • Purpose-driven, results-oriented work environment (we value working smarter, not harder)
  • Flexible dress code—jeans most days, suits when needed. If you know what fits the situation (or are willing to ask), you’ll fit right in
  • Encore gear for all new team members
  • A culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and change—we’re always willing to test, improve, and evolve
  • Access to industry-leading web-based productivity tools
  • Participation in a Fidelity 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage through Blue Cross
  • Company-paid life insurance policy of $50,000
