We’re looking for someone to step into the role of Service Inside Sales, where you’ll help our customers stay safe and code-compliant by quoting and selling fire sprinkler system repairs and service contracts. This role blends technical review, internal collaboration, and customer communication—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both people and process.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

You’ll work closely with both customers and internal teams to deliver clear, accurate proposals and help resolve fire sprinkler deficiencies. You’ll be paired with an outside sales executive and serve as a key point of contact for quoting, documentation, and customer follow-up. In this role, you will:

  • Review inspection reports and deficiency documentation to identify required repairs for fire sprinkler systems
  • Prepare and send quotes and proposals for sprinkler service work and recurring maintenance contracts
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email to provide updates, clarify scope, and answer questions
  • Partner with Operations and other departments to ensure a smooth handoff and seamless service delivery
  • Track contract renewals, maintain accurate records, and assist with follow-ups and documentation

 

About 70% of your time will be spent in the office managing these responsibilities. The other 30% will be spent in the field—meeting customers face-to-face, building rapport, and surveying sprinkler systems to ensure your recommendations are accurate and tailored to their needs.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is technically curious and customer-focused, with the drive to learn and grow within the fire protection industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sales or estimating experience, ideally in a service-oriented or construction-related field
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Technical curiosity—you don’t need to be a sprinkler expert, but you should be ready to dive in and learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Willingness to learn platforms like ServiceTrade and HubSpot (prior experience is a plus)
  • A proactive, customer-first approach and the ability to build lasting relationships

 

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with fire sprinkler systems, life safety, or related trades
  • Familiarity with quoting software or service management platforms
  • Previous experience in a compliance-driven or facilities-related environment
