Here is some of what you can expect:
- Measuring and cutting steel and plastic pipes for installation using blueprints and local building codes
- Attaching fire sprinkler heads and fitting to pipes to ensure pipe systems are free of leaks
- Ability to study and read blueprints in order to decide fitting of the fire sprinkler system
- Must employ safety measures while installing fire sprinkler systems
- Must ensure that each job is done with high precision
- Must document all details of the job properly

- High school diploma is required. Industry experience preferred
- Individual must possess a valid Driver's license and have a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of complex blueprints and solid written and verbal skills
- Familiarity with the national fire codes
- Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and the necessary tools
- Ability to work in a wide variety of conditions, including heights up to 30 feet or more and also be able to work in
adverse weather conditions - Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience in lift operations and OSHA guidelines
- NICET certification a plus
