Position Overview:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented ERP Administrator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in understanding and optimizing our current legacy ERP system while preparing the organization for a seamless transition to a modern ERP platform in the coming years. The ERP Administrator will work closely with our Controller and other key stakeholders to enhance financial and operational processes, ensure business continuity, and drive efficiency across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Legacy ERP System Management:
  • Gain a deep understanding of the current ERP system, including its financial
  • and operational functionalities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues,
  • troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to streamline and automate manual financial
  • processes where possible.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Analyze current business processes supported by the ERP system and
  • identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the functionality of the legacy
  • ERP system to better support business needs.
  • Provide training and support to staff to ensure effective use of the ERP
  •  
  1. ERP Transition Planning:
  • Lead the evaluation of the organization’s ERP needs in preparation for
  • transitioning to a modern ERP platform.
  • Research and recommend ERP solutions that align with the company’s long[1]term goals, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Develop a roadmap for ERP migration, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to ensure the ERP
  • system supports all critical business functions.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure
  • alignment of ERP capabilities with organizational goals.
  1. Change Management and Training:
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition to a new ERP
  •  
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff to ensure effective adoption
  • of the new ERP platform.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably including legacy systems.
  • Experience in financial process optimization and/or ERP implementation is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle methodology and application developments such as Oracle, SAP, SAGE, BI tools, Atlassian and other ERP tools
  • Experience in key finance & accounting processes that includes general accounting and corporate consolidation, financial planning & analysis, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets and projects, treasury and cash management, financial, statutory and management reporting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross[1]functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP migration or implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies.
