As part of Encore's mission, we have recently joined forces with Mountain Valley Sprinkler Systems Inc. based out of Williston, VT. This partnership not only allows us to expand our footprint and find top talent in the VT area, it also allows us to work with industry leaders who strive for same level of excellence as we do.
As we continue to grow in this new territory, we have found ourselves in need of an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to service our Williston, VT area!
Here is some of what you can expect:
- Perform installation, service, and/or inspection work on wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues.
- Laying out, assembling, installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings throughout Vermont
- Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly.
- Ability to work on call rotation.
- Must have the ability to work alone.
Requirements:

- High school diploma is required. Industry experience preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel within the state of Vermont.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of complex blueprints and solid written and verbal skills.
- Familiarity with the national fire codes.
- Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and the necessary tools.
- Ability to work in a wide variety of conditions, including heights up to 30 feet or more and also be able to work in
adverse weather conditions. - Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Experience in lift operations and OSHA guidelines.
- NICET certification a plus.
