The Opportunity

We're in the middle of a BIG move. We're transitioning our HRIS to Ceridian Dayforce, and we need an HRIS Analyst who's done this before. With 2,400+ employees spread across more than a dozen states, this is a real implementation with real complexity, not a side project someone's managing between meetings, and definitely not a simple lift-and-shift. 

 

You'll be in it from day one, getting into the weeds on configuration, data migration, go-live support, all of it. You'll also be the person keeping HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance on the same page, which takes just as much skill as the technical stuff. 

 

If you've guided a Dayforce implementation through the messy middle and come out the other side with something that actually works, this role is for you. 

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Transition & Dayforce Implementation 

  • Take the lead on our end-to-end transition from legacy HRIS to Dayforce, from planning all the way through go-live 
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Operations to understand how things work today and build out how they'll work in Dayforce 
  • Configure Dayforce to fit how we actually operate: workflows, business rules, forms, pay policies, earnings, deductions, security roles 
  • Own data migration: mapping, validation, cleansing, and making sure what comes out the other side matches what went in 

Testing & Go-Live 

  • Find and fix system defects, configuration gaps, and process issues before they become someone else's problem 
  • Be Encore's go-to system contact during implementation and stabilization 
  • Stay in sync with our implementation partner and support teams throughout 

Change Management & Adoption 

  • Help people understand what's changing and why, through communications, training materials, and hands-on support 
  • Be a reliable resource for HR and business leaders who have questions and need someone they can trust 
  • Build the documentation and governance model that keeps the system running smoothly long after go-live 

Reporting, Integrations & Ongoing Optimization 

  • Build and validate reports and dashboards so nothing falls through the cracks from our legacy setup 
  • Keep an eye on integrations and data feeds between our systems 
  • Flag opportunities to automate and improve as you go, not just once things settle down 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or something related

  • 3+ years of recent experience in a similar HRIS-focused role with real, hands-on Dayforce experience, not just “exposure”

  • A track record of working across teams and turning business needs into system solutions

  • Comfort with ambiguity, there won't always be a playbook, and you're okay with that

  • Strong communicator who can get technical with an IT team and then explain the same thing plainly to an HR partner 

Even Better If You Have 

  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-state, or complex payroll environments
  • Background in system implementations, M&A integrations, or HRIS consolidations
  • Dayforce certifications (Implementation or Advanced Configuration)
  • Experience working alongside external implementation consultants
  • Advanced reporting or technical skills, think PowerBI dashboards, SQL queries, or data analysis work that goes beyond pulling a standard report
