Who We Are

At Encore Fire Protection, we are proud to be the east coast's largest full-service fire protection company, serving over 90,000 customers from Maine to Louisiana. With a team of over 2,200 dedicated employees, we provide innovative, customized fire suppression, fire sprinkler, and fire alarm solutions that protect lives and properties every day.

Our goal is to deliver superior experience to those who trust us to safeguard what matters most. We are passionate about continuous growth, innovation, and maintaining a culture that thrives on success and commitment to safety. Our mission? To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Fire Protection Systems Estimator who brings curiosity, confidence, and a natural ability to connect with people. Whether the project involves fire alarm, fire sprinkler, special hazards, or integrated life safety systems, you will guide customers through the estimating and proposal process with accuracy and professionalism. You do not need prior fire protection experience to excel here.

What matters most is your willingness to learn, your commitment to doing the work, and your ability to hold a conversation while still driving toward a result. If you are competitive, detail oriented, and resilient, you will thrive in this role. This is not your typical sales position.

You will split your time between field assessments and office-based estimating, working closely with internal teams to build accurate proposals and communicate effectively with customers. The technical learning curve is real, but the growth opportunity is substantial.

Key Responsibilities

  • A strong desire to learn about sprinkler systems, sales processes, and Encore’s approach to life safety solutions.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative while supporting senior sales team members.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Clear communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude, with comfort interacting with both internal teams and customers.

What You Bring to the Table

In this role, you will work alongside experienced Sales Executives to support day-to-day sales activities and learn how sprinkler system projects move from first conversation to final proposal. The position blends field exposure with office-based coordination, offering a strong foundation in both customer interaction and technical sales support. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assisting Sales Executives in meeting customers, taking measurements, and preparing accurate estimates for new sprinkler systems
  • Supporting in the preparation and finishing of proposals, quotes, and pre-engineering solutions
  • Helping review project documentation and gathering necessary details for design and estimating
  • Collaborating closely with the sales team, project management, and design departments to ensure smooth coordination on projects
  • Shadowing experienced sales representatives in the field to learn how to build strong customer relationships and identify sales opportunities

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with HubSpot and ServiceTrade is not required, but you must be willing and able to quickly learn and self-teach on these platforms.
  • Previous exposure to construction, fire protection, or technical sales environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when working on quotes and project documentation.
  • A natural interest in building relationships and developing long-term customer trust.
