Who We Are

At Encore Fire Protection, we are proud to be the East Coast's largest full-service fire protection company, serving over 90,000 customers from Maine to Louisiana. Our team of more than 2,400 dedicated employees provides customized fire protection solutions that protect lives and property every day.

Our goal is to deliver a unique experience to those who depend on us to make their lives safer and easier. We are passionate about growing with purpose, driving real innovation, and creating a winning culture built on teamwork, success, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

Our mission? To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an exceptional human who can support a fast paced, high expectation President in both his professional and personal settings.  The kind of person who doesn’t just keep up but quietly runs things. This role is built for someone who thrives in constant motion, thinks several steps ahead, and gets real satisfaction from making things happen even when there isn’t a clear path.

Our client is a successful, sharp, and direct President who moves quickly and expects the same. He values efficiency, clear communication, and people who take full ownership; not just of tasks, but of outcomes. We’re looking for a true right-hand - not just a task-tasker. Ultimately, this person has the opportunity to become his chief of staff.  If you’re the person others rely on because things simply work better when you’re involved, this role was built for you.

This isn’t a “take notes and wait for instructions” role. It’s for the trusted operator; the behind-the-scenes force who creates order, anticipates needs, and frees him to focus where it matters most. If you’ve ever been that person for someone, you already understand the assignment. This role will work with the President as a team on the road to becoming an invaluable right hand.

The Schedule & Availability

  • Official: Monday - Friday, business hours when President is working so are you.  He typically works between 7 and 6pm and some weekends.

  • Reality: You need to be highly responsive and available when it matters because you care.

This means:

  • You respond to urgent matters after hours and weekends
  • You assess urgency and act accordingly
  • You plan time off well in advance
  • You step up as needed with a can-do, positive attitude

Work Location: Hybrid between home (Southport) and his primary office (15-20 mins away). Every Monday starts at the house. Location flexibility required based on President's schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Official:

  • Manage a complex and frequently changing calendar with accuracy and discretion

  • Schedule appointments and reservations, including confirmations, details, and follow-up

  • Coordinate and manage both personal and business travel including air, ground, dining reservations and more.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the President’s spouse and family as directed by the President.

  • Create and maintain efficient organizational systems and processes to manage the home some of which have been created by the President to date, some which have to be created as things change.

  • Hire, fire staff or vendors as needed.

  • Estate management for multiple properties in multiple states, order household supplies and oversee inventory

  • Source and purchase gifts for friends, family, and special occasions

  • Plan events personal and professional.

Reality:

  • Support an always-overbooked executive by triaging competing priorities, making judgment calls on his behalf, and gradually earning trust in how his time is managed—maintaining flexibility without losing accountability so he can show up fully to key meetings.

  • Chase down availability, confirm and reconfirm details across multiple parties, anticipate changes, and follow up repeatedly to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Juggle overlapping personal and business travel that could have last-minute changes, unclear preferences, and external disruptions. Resolving issues in real time, so travel appears seamless to everyone else and never becomes the executive’s problem.

  • Act as an on-call extension of the household, responding to day-to-day and last-minute needs such as tracking down a package, dry-cleaning drop-offs, and last-minute vendor management on site

  • This family is already organized, so the job is to keep up—follow the systems, don’t break them, and don’t miss details.

  • There isn’t a full staff yet—so the role is to help figure out what support he needs (drivers, chefs, etc.) and help bring those pieces in when the time comes.

  • Notice what’s about to run out, order it before anyone has to ask, and make sure the house never feels unprepared.

  • Source and purchase gifts that reflect his personal style and relationships, ensuring each gift feels thoughtful, timely, and personally selected by him.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years supporting C-suite executives or UHNW individuals in fast-paced environments

  • Proven ability to manage complex calendars, travel, and competing priorities

  • Tech-savvy with strong organizational skills

  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Unshakeable discretion and confidentiality

  • Local to Southport, CT or willing to relocate

  • Legally authorized to work in the US

  • Fun, witty, with a strong awareness of self.  Sarcasm welcome and know it all’s need not apply.

  • Must be able to provide strong employment references and be willing to undergo a detailed background check
