With a team of over 2,200 dedicated employees, we provide innovative, customized fire suppression, fire sprinkler, and fire alarm solutions that protect lives and properties every day.

Our goal is to deliver superior experience to those who trust us to safeguard what matters most. We are passionate about continuous growth, innovation, and maintaining a culture that thrives on success and commitment to safety. Our mission? To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.

The Opportunity

If you’re the kind of leader who can bring calm to a busy day, keep a team moving in the same direction, and still make customers feel taken care of, you’ll fit in well here.

As our Sprinkler Service Manager, you’ll lead a high-volume service operation and a team of office and field professionals. You’ll set clear expectations, remove roadblocks, coach your leaders, and keep an eye on the numbers while making sure the work gets done safely, efficiently, and to Encore standards.

If you’ve owned results, enjoy building smarter processes, and like being the person others count on when priorities shift, this role will feel like home.

Key Responsibilities

You are the person people call when a sprinkler problem is messy, urgent, or does not have an obvious owner. You like turning technician questions, customer concerns, and service details into clear plans the team can execute, and the department can measure. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the primary resource for your sprinkler service team, answering questions and guiding technicians through complex service calls.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members to improve their technical and industry knowledge.
  • Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and support the ongoing development of your team.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the sprinkler service department to ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Encore standards.
  • Field questions from technicians and offer practical recommendations to navigate complex service situations.
  • Provide product recommendations to the Deficiency Sales team to support the quoting of system repairs and remediation steps.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and take ownership of service-related issues.
  • Actively participate in efforts to support customer retention, revenue growth, and overall department profitability.
  • Work closely with operations, scheduling, and deficiency sales to keep jobs moving and customers informed.
  • Monitor department performance against goals and raise issues that could impact service quality, customer satisfaction, or results.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce friction for technicians, and enhance customer experience.
  • Partner with senior leadership to set and achieve departmental operational and financial goals.
  • Support management of budgets and departmental P&L with attention to profitability and sound decision making.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve customer retention, and enhance operational efficiency

What You Bring to the Table

  • Five or more years of management experience in a service-based business (HVAC, plumbing, facilities, or similar).
  • Experience leading large, multi-functional teams (25+ employees preferred).
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets and owning a department’s P&L.
  • A strategic, process-oriented mindset with a track record of improving how work gets done.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and a calm, confident presence when priorities shift.
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to motivate, coach, and support others.
  • Working knowledge of field service operations, including scheduling, dispatch, maintenance, and repair.
  • A customer-first approach and a commitment to service quality.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • You have experience in fire protection, mechanical, electrical, or a related specialty trade. Prior Sprinkler knowledge is a plus.
  • You have familiarity with relevant fire protection and life safety requirements in your region.
  • You have prior experience with project management or scheduling software.
  • You have industry certifications or training related to construction, project management, or fire protection.

Beyond the Paycheck

At Encore, we’re all about creating a culture where success is celebrated. We recognize that our work makes people’s lives safer, and we reward those who contribute to our growth. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Competitive Salary: Compensation commensurate with your experience, with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses tied to your personal effectiveness and contributions to the team.
  • Purpose-Driven Work Environment: We believe in working smarter, not harder. You’ll be part of a culture that values results, and we empower our team to focus on impactful work.
  • Flexible Dress Code: Upon joining, you’ll receive branded Encore swag, and we believe in dressing for the objective, not the occasion. Most days, you can enjoy a casual work environment, but we’ll dress up when the situation calls for it.
